Kolkata, June 5, 2019: Mohun Bagan has signed Spanish central defender Francisco Morante Martínez today for the season 2019-20. He is popularly known as Fran Morante. The 26 year old defender is from Córdoba, Spain.
Fran has played in Segunda Division B for Internacional de Madrid in the season 2018-19. He played 28 matches last season, which included 27 league matches and 1 COPA DEL RAY encounter and scored two goals.

He is a player who stands out for good positioning, strong aerial presence and provides dependency in defense. Earlier he has played for clubs like Granada CF, Córdoba CF B, CD Badajoz and Real Murcia.
