Mohun Bagan fan Debu Dutta who hails from Tripura set an example for all the MARINERS when he curtailed down the Funeral Ceremony of his deceased Father and donated the money to Tripura Chief Minister’s Corona Fund.

Debu Dutta , a Teacher by profession is a die hard fan of Mohun Bagan. He not only catches all the live action in Television whenever Mohun Bagan is playing but attends the matches in the stadium as well whenever he gets chance from his busy schedule. His father who was admitted in Agartala Hospital breathed his last on 13th April,2020. Due to COVID-19 outbreak in the country the family paid their last tribute to the deceased in a low key and private affair involving family and close friends maintaining the social distancing norms set by Govt.

Debu Dutta decided to donate the money he planned for Funeral Ceremony to Tripura Chief Minister’s Corona Fund and handed over the amount to the Education Minister of Tripura, Shri Ratanlal Nath. This noble act during challenging time has been lauded by many. We hope he keeps supporting Mohun Bagan and continue working towards the community service.
