Kolkata, December 20,2019: After sustaining an injury early in Monday evening’s match between Mohun Bagan and Gokulam Kerala FC (2-1), the Spanish winger underwent additional exams in last few days. The player left the field on Monday with the help of teammates with an injury on the left knee.

The exams revealed a ligament tear to Colinas’ left knee that will keep him out of action for the whole length of I-League. After detailed analysis by the specialists, a consensus was reached that it is for the best of Colinas that he undergoes proper rest, rehab and training to return to the field earliest.

Mohun Bagan sends its strongest support and encouragement to Julen Colinas to overcome this injury, with the courage and determination that the player has always shown.
